This floor sink includes 6" of sump depth and a 8" x 8" basin that allows for a substantial air gap to collect any potential backflow, instead of it coming back up into your kitchen equipment. A domed PVC strainer is designed to prevent splash-back and blocks any larger solids such as food or debris from getting into your p-trap and drain lines, which could result in clogging and service calls to a plumber.
Constructed of durable cast iron and lined with a white acid-resistant coating, this sink is built to withstand the wear-and-tear of a busy commercial kitchen. Rounded corners are easy to clean and reduce areas in which bacteria can build up. It has a 3" no-hub connection that will hook up to drain pipes without needing any soldering.
